STONE BREWING

STONE BREWING

Founded by Greg Koch and Steve Wagner, Stone Brewing has come a long way since opening up in San Diego, California in 1996. We have been listed on the Inc. 500 | 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies list 11 times, and has been called the “All-time Top Brewery on Planet Earth” by BeerAdvocate magazine twice. Stone Brewing is the ninth-largest craft brewer in the U.S. and with our breweries in Richmond, Virginia & Berlin, Germany, we join artisanal brewers across the world in the quest to show the public that there are more…and better…choices beyond the world of industrial beer.

MASON ALE WORKS

MASON ALE WORKS

The first Mason Ale Works location opened in 2015 in our Oceanside URGE location and is the Research and Development department of Mason Ale Works. Here Benjamin "Shaggy" Blaney, the R&D Brewer crafts unique one-off releases and experimental brews. The Oceanside Location produces draft only releases such as "Great Tim Hortons Ghost" a Modern Times Collaboration, and "Cyclops" A Strawberry Pale Ale brewed with 300 pounds of local strawberries. This location also produces some of our more highly anticipated Snale Works products, including "Second Son" Barrel Aged Barleywine/ Stout blend, "Eloise Woods" our Barrel Aged Brett IPA and many more.

REFUGE BREWING

REFUGE BREWING

In the coming years Refuge Brewing signed on to distribution with Stone Brewing and began to distribute our beers throughout California. Currently Refuge beer (primarily Blood Orange Wit) is sold in over a thousand restaurants and bars throughout Southern California, and is available in the Bay Area, Arizona and Colorado. In 2015, Refuge became the fastest growing production brewery in California with nearly a 300% jump in production over the previous year. In 2016, Refuge became the largest brewery in Temecula and all of Riverside county. That same year Refuge leased the suite next door (11,000 sqft total) to take the brewery to the next level.

PIZZA PORT BREWING

PIZZA PORT BREWING

In March of 1987 Gina and Vince Marsaglia, a pair of siblings in their 20′s, bought a struggling pizza place in the sleepy coastal town of Solana Beach, just north of San Diego. Early on, Vince took advantage of free space in the restaurant’s storage area to dabble with home brewing. The hobby took off and at the urging of friends and fans, Vince and Gina decided to go into the brewpub business. Pizza Port offered its first craft-brewed beers to patrons in 1992 and quickly gained a reputation in San Diego’s growing craft beer scene.

The Pizza Port locations collectively have won over 91 medals/awards from the Great American Beer Festival, and we continue to encourage our brewers to create unique and award winning beers.

MIKKELLER SD

MIKKELLER SD

Mikkeller Brewing San Diego is a new brand deeply rooted in the friendship of two world renowned breweries, (gypsy trailblazers) Mikkeller and (legendary) AleSmith. Expect super fresh, hoppy beers as well as classic European styles.

MAUI BREWING

MAUI BREWING

Like us, our beers are elegant yet raw, free-spirited yet sophisticated. Beer has a unique ability to bring all kinds of people together, from the Lords that only enjoy the finer things in life, to the Hobos that work hard to earn their small pleasures, great beer is an accessible luxury.

MODERN TIMES

MODERN TIMES

Modern Times is an intrepid cadre of brewers, coffee roasters, and culinary wizards that began as a 30bbl production brewery and tasting room in the Point Loma neighborhood of San Diego. Modern Times is named after a beautifully crazy utopian community founded in 1850, and many of our beers are named after real utopian experiments or mythological utopias.

Today, we're distributed throughout Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, and the Pacific Northwest. In addition to our flagship brewery & roastery in Point Loma, we now have brewery/restaurant locations in Los Angeles & Portland, as well as a tasting room in San Diego’s North Park neighborhood and a restaurant and tap room in Encinitas, CA. A bit further down the line, we’ll be opening a restaurant in Santa Barbara, as well as a brewery/restaurant/cafe/swim club megaplex in downtown Anaheim. As of 2017, we became California’s very first employee-owned brewery, which is a fact we’re particularly proud of.

SMOG CITY

SMOG CITY

In October 2011, Smog City Brewing Co. began brewing beer at the Tustin Brewing Co. (TBC) brewpub. By utilizing TBC's excess fermentation capacity, Smog City was able to brew well-crafted beers, and personally distribute to restaurants and bars throughout Los Angeles County. We worked to create a presence in the craft brewing community and brewed and distributed 240 barrels in the first year.

Never would we have imagined that 5 years later, we would still be growing and producing more beer and at the same time adding to our taproom space in Torrance. We've broken ground in what is being called our 'South Cellar' and it will soon be filled with more fermentation tanks, brite tanks, and our brand new bottling line.

KERN RIVER BREWING

KERN RIVER BREWING

KRBC is Kernville’s first brewpub. This makes KRBC much more than just a restaurant; it’s an attraction in itself. According to the Kernville Chamber, on any given weekend the town of Kernville can easily swell to between 20-40 thousand people, all of whom are looking for entertainment and can find it at our establishment. KRBC has received an overwhelming and enthusiastic response from both locals and visitors alike. Approximately 15,000 people live in the Kern River Valley, 2,000 of those people make up the town of Kernville. Keeping the names of the beer local, providing a simple yet diverse menu and having a comfortable place where “everybody knows your name”, Kern River Valley residents and visitors alike have found themselves at home.

AVERY BREWING

AVERY BREWING

Since 1993 our brewery has been committed to producing eccentric ales and lagers that defy styles and categories. Our beers are thoroughly American at heart: blending Old World tradition and expertise with ingenuity, creativity and boldness.

OSKAR BLUES

OSKAR BLUES

In 2002, in the funky little town of Lyons, Colorado, we shattered craft beer convention by stuffing our voluminously hopped mutha of a brew, Dale’s Pale Ale, into a portable, crushable, infinitely recyclable can. Craft beer in a can stays fresher for longer, and it’s easy to pack in (and pack out) on any soul-saving adventure. We now operate breweries in Colorado, North Carolina and Texas to provide craft beer in a can to all 50 states, Washington, D.C. and 17 other countries.

EEL RIVER BREWING

EEL RIVER BREWING
